African Family Service foundation is 501 (C)3 registered in New York state. The mission is to provide services to the African refuges’ community residing in Rochester, New York. The organization plays great role in refuges settlement program, such as securing accommodation and providing health and social services. Additionally, the organization created an after-school program for refuges children. Internationally, it runs programs like vocational school, heath center and public library. These projects are based in Aweil state, Republic of South Sudan. RSS.

To offer assistance and educational support to the refuges’ “African families” where they maybe situated and in making a transition to the cultural changes they encountered after they move to the United States of America.

Vision

To educate the general public through outreach and other efforts as to the positive cultural aspect of the African Family.
